My foundation: a safe, attuned space for every child
Hi, I'm Sharon du Preez, a registered counsellor based in Blenheim, New Zealand, specialising in working with children. I offer play therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused CBT. I also provide parent/caregiver counselling to help navigate parenting challenges. I'm fully registered with NZAC and ACC, holding a BA Health & Social Science (Psych Couns) degree, Dip CBT, Dip TF-CBT, and a Dip Neuro-relational child-centred play therapy. With over a decade of counselling experience and a background in education, I chose this path because I love working with children – the younger, the better. My role is to provide a safe, attuned space where children feel seen, heard, and supported, always adhering to NZAC regulations for supervision and continuous professional development.
