About me
My name is Sharon du Preez. I am a qualified and registered counsellor, currently based in Blenheim, New Zealand. I offer play therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and trauma focussed cognitive behavioural therapy to children. I offer parent/caregiver counselling to help brainstorm any difficulties with parenting. I am fully registered with NZAC and ACC.
I have a BA Health & Social Sciences (Psych Couns) degree, Dip CBT, Dip TF-CBT, Dip Neuro-relational Child Centred Play Therapy. I have a background in education and have more than a decade's experience in counselling.
As per NZAC regulations, I have regular supervision and continuous professional development. I believe in lifelong education and, as such, am always engaged in study.
